A nice bottle of wine was provided, and hosts were very responsive and relaxed, great location!!

The location is central and we bikes included which was great to visit the city.

Unfortunately, our stay did not meet our expectations, especially considering the price of the accommodation. Cleanliness The floor in the living room did not appear properly cleaned upon arrival. We also noticed spider webs in several places, both inside and outside the property. The bicycles provided were covered in spider webs as well, giving the impression that they had not been used or maintained for quite some time. Comfort The apartment was very warm at night, making it difficult to sleep comfortably. The bedroom has no window, and the only window that can be opened is in the living room, resulting in very poor ventilation. The bed was extremely soft, and the sheets and bedding felt low quality. I also personally disliked the artificial grass used in the bedroom, which made the space feel less comfortable and also not very hygienic. Bathroom The bathroom was not practical. The lighting was insufficient for getting ready, there was almost no space to place toiletries or personal items, and the sink was too small to use comfortably, even for basic tasks such as brushing your teeth. Terrace The terrace was disappointing. It seemed considerably smaller than it appears in the Booking photos and was not particularly clean. Value for money This was by far the biggest issue. The accommodation is priced similarly to a 4-star hotel in the Netherlands, yet the overall standard of comfort, cleanliness, and amenities was significantly lower. Had the price been more modest, many of these shortcomings would have been easier to overlook. At this price point, however, I expected a much higher-quality experience.

veel gedoe met sleuteloverdracht, heb wel idee dat Jochem zijn best doet maar vanwege meerdere telefoontjes ervaren wij dit als wat hinderlijk. We konden pas later in accommodatie omdat vorige huurders er een zooitje van gemaakt zouden hebben. Misschien kon Jochem daar niets aan doen maar onnodig om ons dit allemaal te melden.

Geen wastafel en/of badkamer, Ik moest me scheren in de keuken. Ontbijt ook erg complex maar hij had wel veel gehaald zodat je kan kiezen. Misschien iets eenvoudiger houden maar betere kwaliteit (liever verse broodjes dan verpakte afbak broodjes)

Jochem’s place is very comfortable and homey. The place spacious, plus the location is central and convenient yet still very quiet. The hosts put a lot of thought into making their quests feel welcome with their little personal touches. If I come to Leiden again, I would happily book their place.

The apartment is in the centre of Leiden, we walked everywhere and only 15 minute walk to the station. Very quiet and peaceful. The decor is eclectic, and interesting. Great shower and everything in the kitchen worked well. Comfortable bed, and nice open fire in the bedroom.

The sofa was very low to the floor, and we are in our late 60’s and difficult to get out of once you sat down. Some brighter lighting would have helped in the bathroom.

J'ai beaucoup aimé l'accueil de mon hôte. Il était aux petits soins. Il a rempli le frigo et a fait les courses dont il ne devrait pas. Merci beaucoup Jochem.

Etant allergique, je n'ai pas trop aimé le tapis dans la chambre à coucher. Mais ce n'était qu'un détail.

Sehr netter Vermieter und eine ausgefallene Wohnung. Wir haben uns sehr willkommen gefühlt.
