Mathew Street 1 bed apt sleeps 6

Great location for shopping and night life it is very loud so if you want a quiet stay then go elsewhere Mathew Street is full on and amazing but it's not for everyone. It was so easy to access and fully equipped clean comfy apartment xxxxx

Easy entry, location perfect

The location was great. Check was simple.

We were generally underwhelmed by the apartment, especially for price we paid. On first impresion the flat seems really nice but it soon became apparent that there is no interest in customer experience. We noticed the bathroom tap is loose, and this was mentioned on a previous review. Why has it not been fixed when it would take 5 minutes? We messaged about there being no kettle, despite the listing saying there was one, and got no reply. On our last night water started coming through the kitchen ceiling and flooding the kitchen floor, and this tripped the electricity so none of the plugs worked. I messaged on the app immediately and received no reply. My phone then ran out of battery so we went to bed. In the morning I checked the kitchen and the leak had dried out so I switched the electricity back on. I messaged to say this and just received a reply saying sorry and they would let their management company know. Below is a list of what we considered to be below par for an apartment of this price: No kettle and didn’t reply to message about this. No toaster (which was listed) Lamp in living room didn’t work Used cigarettes under cushions in living room Two mugs for entire apartment (apparently sleeps 6) No kitchen bin No washing up liquid 1 dishwasher tablet (for a 2 night stay) No tea towels No oven gloves Loose tap in bathroom No handle on door in bedroom Empty hand soap No dining table (listing says it has one)

Easy to access and good apartment for location

Dirty entrance hall. Strangean sat on stairs asking us what apartment we were in. We went to apartment and then next minute same man came and said we need to change apartments. He knew all the door codes and said he was the cleaner but I didn’t feel safe. The windows didn’t shut and the noise from the street was loud.
