Great hosts, quiet place, good facilities

3 minutes from the Transfagerasan, this is the perfect place to recharge your batteries before or after crossing the mountains. We felt very comfortable in this completely new house. Everything is new, very clean, made to a high standard and you can see that the owners have put a lot of heart and soul into this place. The bed was very comfortable. The kitchen and separate BBQ area are equipped with everything your heart desires. There is also a whirpool and a sauna, which can bevused for an extra charge. With the rural idyll, the impressive nature and the large outdoor area, this is a wonderful place to unwind for longer. The owners were very friendly, speak English and Spanish and welcomed us with raspberries and cherries from the garden.

Everything was great and we will come back.

We were fortunate to have the whole property to ourselves and it felt like we were at a castle on top of the hills. The house is extremely well finished with lots of attention to detail. Everything is brand new and clean. Plenty of public spaces to share, we especially enjoyed the balcony at the front on the second floor! This little family business is wonderful and the entire family very lovely. They live close-by in the village so they give you privacy, but they are just a message away to help with anything!

Note that the hot tub and sauna need to be turned on and it is at an extra cost. This seems common in Romania but it was new to us (from Canada and the UK).
