Large comfortable apartment in a central location but a quiet street.
Kitchen equipment could be updated. Host required a 150€ cash deposit which was returned on departure. Annoying and first time experience for us although we travel constantly.

Host Luca was amazing. At the first night we managed to lock ourselves out the apartment with all of our stuff inside. Finally we got a hold of Luc. Our nice neighbour Nikola helped us, and finally Luca came to rescue. He was really chill about the whole situation and we were really relieved. He also left a good wine for us and gave us good recommendations where we should go visit and where we could rent a boat etc. Everything after that went smoothly and we had no problems. The apartment is located in the old town and everything is very close by. Would recommend to use GPS maybe on the first day but every street is connected to the main area so you can go what ever street and end up on the main square, where all the shopping and dining places are. The apartment was cozy and equipped with everything you need. Train station and bus station is very close, and the tickets are very cheap, bus ticket was about 3,30€ and train ticket was 1,40€. We took the train back to airport and it was only 5 min. Save your money on taxi and trasfer cars and take the train to the airport.
Be aware that the door locks itself even if it's not technically locked with the key. We left the keys insinde and went outside for a smoke and didn't realize that the door would shut and lock itself.

The apartment has a spacious living room, a fully equipped kitchen, and a great bedroom with a comfy bed. The location is literally the best you can get in Cagliari, just a short walk from Piazza Yenne and with many great restaurants at your doorstep! Luca is a nice soul and friendly guy who was there to accommodate us and answer all our questions. He also left us a bottle of white wine in the fridge! Thanks
