It took us 1.5h to find out how to get inside. Then it was NOT CLEAN and the WIFI didn't work, in a place with no 4G or 5G Network. Since that is not acceptable, we tried to reach somebody from the staff / owner starting from asking how to get in or to get the WIFI going. Nobody answered and we left. Our request to return the money was not followed.

The location is great, but unfortunately that's all

unfortunately the whole building and the apartment itself smells strongly of cigarettes, so I would only recommend it to people who smoke anyway. There is mould in the bathroom, the right side of the bed is already laid out. There is also a strange locked door in the apartment, I think it leads to another unused room. A bit creepy

I stayed here for 11 nights and the flat had everything I could possibly need for that quite long stay. Very comfortable bed, effective aircon (kept flat beautiful temp despite baking 34C weather), small but well equipped kitchen, modern bathroom fittings. The photos of the flat are very accurate. The flat is excellently located just at the end of Barcola sea front closest to the city, so you can be on the sea front within minutes of walking out the front door, but also jump on a bus directly opposite the flat and be in Trieste city centre in just 20 minutes tops. Note, there is only one small nearby shop with basic provisions, but I recommend future guests use the Pam supermarket by the train station, just 10 mins by bus (daily unlimited bus ticket only a few euros, ticket machine available at the bus stop opposite flat). The sushi restaurant which is a 5 minute walk away (i-sushi) is amazingly good. Really was an ideal spot and I'd stay here again when visiting Trieste, glad I didn't stay in the city centre personally, this felt an authentically local flat and area.

As an Englishman, I did miss a kettle for my tea! But in reality it was actually not a problem to boil water on the induction hob.
