Goreta032 Luxury Apartment 2

The owner was really helpful with the apartment, and helping us with our trip to the area. The apartment was very new, and very clean. The air conditioner worked great, and worked in October (Which was critical for us, because some apartments disable air conditioning in october). The apartment has a great view of the Danube, with a nice enclosed terrace. Internet and wifi was great - high speed, with low latency. There was a large sofa (but it was kind of stiff, not very soft). The bed was very comfortable, with medium stiffness, and high quality linens. Great location with a grocery store, and a great Bakery nearby (Pekara Karan). There is a reserved parking spot right in front of the building. There's a lot of demand for parking in the neighborhood, so having a dedicated parking spot was critial.

Stairs. There are 2 long flights of stairs, and no elevator. The mini split air conditioning worked great, but it was ONLY in the living room, not in the bedrooms. There are no light blocking shutters, and the blinds didn't fully cover the windows. There was only one pillow per person, and no bedding in the second bedroom, or any extra bedding anywhere else. There wasn't a good surface for storing/unpacking your suitcase. There was no oven or toaster oven for heating up bread/pastries/etc in the morning for breakfast. The shower drain gets clogged very easily, and because there is no shower door or shower pan, the water can cover the bathroom floor. Even though there were some negatives, it was still a pleasant stay, I just want to make sure people know what to expect.

The hostess Renata was away on holidays herself when we arrived however her beautiful sister was there to greet us and help carry our suitcases up to the our room. The view of Vukovar and the Danube from the balcony was amazing and the facilities within the apartment were fabulous as well (including two separate toilets). We arrived in 38 degree heat so the air conditioning was a god send and was left on for us prior to arrival. The parking was also paid for by the owner which was right in front of the building and very convenient. Thank you for a wonderful stay experience which I was happy to convey to our other travel companions that also booked this apartment the following week!

There was NOTHING we did not love about this apartment and location.

Superb apartment in a very good and modern condition. The host really cared about our needs and was able to provide great support and advice.
