Piscine en décembre trop froide mais bon je m y attendais , on voit pas sur les photos c le long de la route mais pas grave elle est en contrebas

Amazingly clean and cozy house with a unique feeling of being close to the nature, thanks to the cave-like interior and views from the window. Well equipped, the pool and a spot for grilling are also the highlights of this property. Great spot for travelling around the island.

We spent one of the most memorable vacations in Madeira, and we could not have picked a more authentic, special place to stay than the Villas Calhau da Lapa 10. The house architecture is fabulous, integrated perfectly with the island character. It was equiped with everything we needed in the kitchen, bbq, bathrooms. The pool is an absolute blessing at the end of a long hike or just to relax. The location is great for going any direction on the island. You are away from the city, but still close by if you need to be there. The hospitality of the hosts was amazing, they answered all out questions, ensured we have everything we needed for our stay and their recommendations for places to visit, to eat or even history of Madeira, were priceless. Thank you Gilberto and Gerthie!

The location is in the country side, and even though there are stores and restaurants nearby, you need a car to get around, they are not an easy walk away.
