b&b Stadium room & suite

Molto pulito e i proprietari veramente gentili e accoglienti. Letto comodissimo , ma tutto era confortevole. Tornerò sicuramente.

Ho alloggiato in 2 diverse stanze di questo BnB durante 2 diversi soggiorni nel mese di giugno, "Dream" e "Life" (le 2 stanze senza vasca idromassaggio, per intenderci). Entrambe sono dotate di materasso molto comodo, asciugamani cambiati giornalmente, cabina armadio, bagno privato, porta-finestra con tapparella elettrica e condizionatore funzionante (molto utile!). Avendo dovuto usare il mio laptop estensivamente, ho trovato utile la presenza della piccola scrivania con sedia in entrambe le stanze. Ho preferito leggermente il layout della stanza Life, ma di contro la stanza Dream aveva una doccia più ampia e comoda, con zona soffione e zona doccino ben distanziate, cosa che ho apprezzato. L'host, Ettore, ti guida in modo molto dettagliato e presente telematicamente, cosa davvero comoda. Ha subito provveduto in velocità in qualsiasi evenienza. Il check-in avviene in autonomia e basta semplicemente seguire le indicazioni inviate da Ettore sul proprio smartphone connesso a internet. Degna di nota la signora che giornalmente si occupa della pulizia della struttura, una donna affabile, rispettosa ed efficiente! Ha pulito e riorganizzato tutto sempre ineccepibilmente. Infine, questo BnB si trova vicino all'autostazione dove ferma il Flixbus (circa 700m), quindi se avete necessità di una struttura in quella zona, questa fa per voi. In sintesi, ho apprezzato particolarmente: comodità del materasso, condizionatore d'aria, pulizia della stanza, vicinanza alla fermata Flixbus, check-in e check-out autonomi.

L'esterno della palazzina è abbastanza rovinato, ma camminando un po' nei dintorni ho notato che non è un caso isolato. Purtroppo per l'intera durata del mio soggiorno c'è stata sempre almeno una zanzara che ronzava per la stanza, nonostante ne avessi catturate alcune e nonostante ci fossero le zanzariere alle finestre.

Late at night I found it hard to find the entrance and there was no sign on the apartment door. All contact is through WhatsApp though the manager tried to help when I was having trouble.

The apartment building is old but the accommodation is renovated in a modern way and the rooms are great The owner even though he is absent, he is always present via internet, and will help with anything very quickly There are several parking spaces in the precinct in front of the entrance. In general its a value for money

Room with private bathroom was very comfortable and clean for a nights stay . The host was very proactive and helpful with communication, easy check- in .Easy walk to train station , city Center and beach. Value for money

Communication with the hosts was excellent.

Not a fan of sweet treats for breakfast but the coffee was great.

Еtore's place is great! Before I go into the details about the property, let me tell you more about the host. I really loved how responsive and helpful he was (basically tracking me down all the way on the bus from Bari to Croton via WhatsApp, checking when I would arrive, as my scheduled arrival was at 11 p.m.). He even went on to call and check bus dates at the bus station in Crotone for me the next day (I needed to get to another place afterwards) and basically did everything he could to help me find my way around town. Even though he speaks little English, communication was easy and effective. The place is spotlessly clean and very safe (there is a special system for getting in and out of the property, Etore will explain to you in detail) and he had even thought of leaving snacks for breakfast and beer/juice/water in the shared fridge in the kitchen, so you would want for nothing there. The air conditioning basically saved me in the 37-degree June heat, so one more amazing thing in (if you, like me, come from a colder climate to the South of Italy). The rooms are spacious as well. Location - it is the best place if you come from the bus station as it is literally 10 minutes away from it and it is just opposite the town stadium. The downside is that it is located in a residential building (pics attached), so you should really know which door to use to get in. The closest store (where you can buy things like water and shampoo, for example) is a Carrefour around 20 minutes away on foot. The town's historical centre (a.k.a. the old town) is around 35 minutes away, slow walking. The residential building has a spacious parking in a inner courtyard, so if you come with a car, I guess there would be no issues on where to keep it. The place is quiet day and night (mostly), so you will have no issues with noise (unless you make the noise yourself) and if you go to Crotone, this is just the right place to book.

I didn't stay long enough. Crotone is well-worth a 2-3 days at least and I got to have only 1 full day to see it. Apart from that, just be mindfull of distances around the town and pin the location of the property (or the stadium) and you should have no issues at all.

The b&b is at the perfect location if you are arriving by train and want to explore the city. We got clear instructions on how to find the b&b and we had no problem. The room was clean and comfortable. Coffee and some packed breakfast snacks were provided in the kitchen. It was a pleasant stay for us and 15 minutes walk from the old town.
