Sofa bed was very uncomfortable

The view was nice as nice can be a view in a messy ugly city. The location was great and ideal for tourists. The internet was fast like everywhere in Bucharest because Romania have the fastest internet connection in Europe.

The apartment complex was dirty but that’s not the host’s fault. The apartment was clean in a first glance but if you look thoroughly it’s not. It was very dusty under the bed and had lot of hairs on the floor. There was a bad smell if you didn’t have the windows open all day, which was not a problem at that particular dates because the weather was super nice and sunny. The water in the shower needed 7 minutes running to be heated, which is mentioned on a note on the bathroom wall. The check in time was at 15:00 and the check out at 10:00 which I would understand if it was a hotel. 5 hours to clean a tiny apartment, which apparently wasn’t cleaned properly? I’ve never checked out from a room before 12 and I have been travelling for the last 25 years nonstop. We arrived around 14:00 and we asked the host if we could check in an hour earlier. She said yes for an extra fee which, for me, is unacceptable. It means the room was ready but the host just wanted extra money. I’m sure the room was empty days ago. I could smell it wasn’t cleaned lately and smelled the humidity and the mould in the apartment. I’ve checked in so many times in my life but not only I wasn’t asked to pay extra, some times I was offered a free breakfast, especially in Istanbul. I understand this is business but that also shows the hospitality of the locals, which I didn't see within three days in Bucharest. It’s not worth the 60 euro per night in a non full season period.

Good place, fair price.
