Host & Stay - Beachcomber's Rest

Excellent location. Quiet over the christmas period. No host on site and lounge to the back of the property made our stay private and quiet for us to come and go as we pleased. Short walk along the coastal path to the harbour and town. Excellent facilties in the house. Home from home over the Christmas period. Our 2 small dogs were welcome. We would certainly return.

Suggestions not criticism - A mirror near a socket for hair drying would have been useful and the tv in the bedroom didn't have aeriiel/digital connection.

Location was excellent and house has all the amenities needed.

No cleaning supplies, unable to clean sink, counters, stove or floor as there were no supplies. Also needed more washing up liquid and paper towel. Took us ages to find plug for sink.

its location we used it as a stop over on the way to scotland. it was easy to find, very close to restaurants cafe's and shops not to mention pubs, didn't use the kitchen except to unwrap the takeaway.

I Don't know whether my fault or theirs but, we had to sort out the insurance for our stay on the doorstep (to get the Key box code) not the easiest company to call. and i think they could have let me know at time of booking.

Bathroom shower needs a shower head.

The location was excellent, shops and restaurants pubs not far to walk.

The property did smell of smoke In the hall as you walked In, could to with a paint all round, the front and back garden need a good weed. Apart from they have a gem of a place.
