The receptionist was very friendly and helpful, when I had questions, he responded promptly. The room was clean and tidy, so was the linen. The common area was equipped with a dining and sitting area, board games, a drier for clothes. Additionally when asked they offered an iron. The kitchen had all the utensils and appliences necessary. The bathroom and toilet were clean and functioning.

Nothing, everything was perfect.

I would prefer a women-only room

When I was about to stay in the same dorm with a random drunk guy by myself, I asked the owner to give me another room and he did. It would be better lf he offered it himself at first place bc that guy was obviously dangerous. The Bed was clean. The location was good.

Bathroom was a disaster. There were many flies there. Stinks. Worst showering experience. The photos of the dorms are not real. You get different ones.

Got contacted by the lady owner immediately after booking. She was helpful with info how to get to the hostel. I arrived and was welcomed by a very warm man who's actually the owner. He was aware I was tired but still made it brief and effective with info I needed. I booked a 6-person dorm and man was I taken by surprise. The hostel is super clean. So well equipped and decorated. The bunk beds are super cozy in the 2nd building, lower floor where I stayed. 190m long, and I could do morning stretch with my foot touching the upper bed when stretched up. I could sit up and not hurt my head as it usually happens with bunk beds. The bedsheets were clean. The showers were clean. The toilets were clean. The guests seem to have been regular or long-stayers. There are two kitchens in the hostel - I stayed in the 2nd building with two dorms, separate showers room, separate toilets for guys n girls and a kitchen big enough that you can turn around, twirl and enjoy the cooking : ) It's well equipped for a hostel and pots and pans aren't scratched. Another kitchen is on the 2nd floor in the first building where the reception is. It is also well-equipped and it overlooks the lounge area with tables, couch and a balcony. The lounge area is quite cozy. Peeps worked online from there. The library section was full of useful guides how to travel in Serbia and what to do, see, try... I got some ideas for myself. I havent walked to the center but peeps staying there said it is a 10-15 min walk. I don't think you even need the center if you don't need to go there since just outside of the hostel, there's street sellers selling veggies and fruit, green market, bakeries, bbq places, healthy food stores, discount shops... Really cool location and one of the nicest hostels I've stayed in! THUMBS UP!

I am usually big on bitching and complaining, but I am honoured to say that I had almost zero complaints for that one wonderful night and day I stayed. Really, my first time seing such a spotless, spacious and cozy hostel. And the only thing I have to mention is not a complaint but rather an observation and suggestion, the doors of my dorm 6L were making squeaking sound so if I or other people staying wanted to open or close them and someone was already asleep, it was a bit uncomfortable for me to go out knowing Im potentially annoying/disturbing someone, so I guess just a taddy bit of oil will solve it. But then again, Im an anxious person and worry too much. No idea if it bothers or will bother anyone else : )
