It’s newly developed so clean, smart and nicely presented

The sofa, chairs and bed were not as comfortable as I would usually expect

We liked everything.

Could be improved with a better mattress:

Great location. Spacious and full kitchen facilities.

The sofa is not very comfortable

The apartment was clean and warm and I loved the layout and the features of the beams and stone walls and the chocolate welcome with little treat.

The sofa.. after a day of walking the sofa wasn’t the most comfortable of seating to relax into. The Bed… the mattress was lovely, but the fact that the metal slats were warped and made a terrible noise, so much so that we moved the mattress into the living room through fear of the bed breaking under us during the night on the second night. I’d also just think about maybe going king size for a sturdier option and ultimate comfort and the size of the room could manage it easy.

The property is well equipped and has so much character which is a treat. It would be amazing in the colder months when the fire is on! Cannot wait to come back! The location is fab too for hikes but also for links to surrounding villages which offer so much to do. If you enjoy walking, exploring and food then this is definitely a spot you have to try!

The sofa was not comfortable to relax on. A blind in the kitchen would have been useful.

Good location in central Chapel en le Firth Quiet Nice old building

Uncomfortable bed Very difficult if you are tall, lots of sloping roofs with exposed beams. Missing some basic items, ie. Shower gel Very cramped bathroom
