Location and the cats !

The property itself was excellent. And the views wonderful. Simone was very helpful. He met us on arrival and helped with luggage - and again on departure.

The property was located half-way between the road (where the car / garage was) and Amalfi (350+ steps to go to / from the car and 400+to go to / from the town). There was no indication on the website that this was the case. The property would not be suitable for anyone with a disability. We are both able-bodied but still needed help from Simone to get cases to and from the property.

Location was lots of work to access. We understand that Amalfi is mostly hillside properties but the website did not properly describe the property and the inconvenience to access it. The description to access the property should have detailed more the amount of stairs needed to descend in order to reach it. Also the electricity works with a key that must stay inserted into the outlet on the wall. If you want to cook using the electric cook top while watching tv with the AC on, you WILL trip the breaker and will have to go outside to switch it back. The space is limited and sleeps 3 fairly comfortably. If you want a 4th person to sleep there is a hidden fold out bed that can be set up in the kitchen, there is NO other room to set it up. If you visit Amalfi I would recommend a property closer to the bottom of the hill. This property, as well as others in the nearby area, will be an extreme discomfort to access with any luggage. It is a very exhausting effort to transport luggage to this property. The property manager Danielle was VERY VERY professional and helpful. If I went back I would get a property much closer to the bottom of the hill as the views are pretty from just about anywhere in Amalfi.
