Really nice and clean appartment in a good location, not too far from the city centre. Sardor, the host, is the most helpful guy you could imagine, he is very kind and helps you with anything you need. I really recommend this place!

Location is great.

Nice host. Clean new apartment

The flat seemed newly renovated, which was a pleasant surprise. It’s in a convenient location, within a 3 km radius of key attractions. The heating system worked well, keeping us warm on colder days. The owner was very accommodating, allowing us to check in late at 11 pm. Additionally, when we asked where we could store our luggage after the 12:00 check-out for our 11 pm flight, he suggested we could arrange to leave it at his friend’s hotel, which was very helpful.

Price: After spending a few days in Samarkand, we realized it’s quite an affordable city. Comparable or even better accommodations were available for 2-3 times less. Cash-Only Payment: The owner insisted on cash payment, which was inconvenient. No Windows in Key Areas: The main sitting area and the primary bedroom had no windows, which was a significant drawback for us. No Elevator: The flat is on the third floor, and there’s no elevator. While the owner kindly helped us with our luggage on check-in, we struggled to carry it down ourselves at check-out. Breakfast Limitations: As a Genius member, we were entitled to free breakfast. However, the options were minimal (improved only on the last day with fruits and a tasty porridge). When I inquired, the owner mentioned that breakfast wasn’t typically included and that they were making an exception. Unfortunately, the “exception” didn’t offer much variety. Limited Amenities: There was only gel soap in the bathroom, which dried out our hands. Despite requesting an additional soap for the toilet and kitchen tissues, these were not provided. Lack of Hotel-Style Comforts: Unlike many accommodations, there were no slippers, toothpaste, tea bags, or even drinking water—missing the small, thoughtful touches we’ve come to appreciate in other places.

Everything was great from check-in to check-out. The host Sardor was also excellent. I would definitely recommend him also as a guide. He was very friendly and helpful.

The main bedroom should have AC for the summer.
