SOLAR DO MONTE 4

La piscina estaba súper limpia y cuidada con mucho mimo. No obstante existe un horario de utilización de esta instalación, a la entrada del apartamento y en inglés, que no vimos, y que limita el uso de la piscina después de las 8 de la tarde. También dispone de una pequeña terraza con minibarbacoa que da mucho juego en una tarde al refrescar el calor del día.

La cocina está dividida en dos partes, fregadero y cocina y en otra parte nevera, microondas y tostadora y mientras no te acostumbras es un poco atípico.

Absolutely gorgeous unit. We loved it. Stayed 3 nights early-mid June. We had all the essentials for making meals (except an oven). Only downside is not much bench space at all. The 'kitchen' equipment was split into 2 areas - one right on entering the apartment and another dedicated small space near the table and chairs in the living room (this area had a bench with microwave, kettle, coffee maker; and nearby the fridge). Apartment had the most massive, beautiful bathroom. A huge shower. A separate bathtub. Huge vanity with 2 sinks and good lighting and lots of power points. Toilet, bidet, etc. The bedroom was upstairs (open plan type 2nd floor above the bathroom area). Bed was 2 king single beds pushed together which stayed together. Large side tables by bedhead. Loads of wardrobe space. Living room had a TV set up high atop a large cabinet (which housed the fridge), Then a smallish round table with 4 chairs and the bench for kitchen appliances (already mentioned). A very comfy full size couch. And a massive, wall length cupboard for things like an iron, ironing board, clothes horse, basket and all that sort of jazz. Lots of storage space. Another 2 small tables, and chairs outside on the balcony as well as 2 sun loungers and a tiny griller. Nice to sit at as the day unwinds. The grounds have a gym (free to use), a sauna (a cost), swimming pool and towels (free to use), a small laundry room with a washing machine in it, a gazebo with table and chairs. These are all in a private spot around the back of the property so no-one can see you from the street, etc. Very nicely appointed. We used the pool & it was sparkling clean. Paula, the owner, is lovely. She sent us plenty of info for surrounding area. And left us juicy oranges as well as the basics like salt, pepper, oil, vinegar & soy. for meal preparations. Parking is alongside the property on a wide street, no issues ever. Fews mins only to Albufeira. Easy to get to all roads from here.

Could do with a little more bench space to make simple meals like sandwiches on (would be hard to fit into the alcove that we had where the sink and hot plates and utensil cupboards were, but maybe up in the living section near the bench that held the toaster, kettle, coffee maker and microwave. I'm unsure if all the rooms/apartments are the same configuration. To take full advantage of this residential location you may benefit from having your own wheels (car, motorbike, bicycle).

Everything was great!

Accueil irréprochable, des hôtes disponibles, discrets et réactifs. Cadre de l'établissement très reposant, bel espace commun (piscine, salle de sport,...), appartement très bien équipé.

Les propriétaires n'y sont pour rien mais les chiens du voisin ont leur créneau "aboiement" (Heureusement,ce n'est pas la nuit). Le lit d'appoint est moyen (l'autre est très grand et très confortable)

The property is beautiful, the owner was very friendly and helpful, she showed us the entire property and gave us suggestions on what to do and where to go to have dinners. Clean place and comfortable beds. Recommended!
