"Good but let down by the bedding situation"

The property was in a good location, close to LaGuardia airport. It was basic but cheapest property I could find in the area so this is understandable. Easy transport options nearby to Manhattan. Small kitchen with a microwave was useful for breakfast.

The owner of the property didn’t even provide a pillow for the bed. The cushions on the bed were from a sofa and covered in stitching and patterns that made them uncomfortable. No pillow case at all. Extremely unhygienic and picked up a dodgy illness after staying here. I ended up using my hoodie as a pillow. I know NY is expensive but you would expect to receive at least a pillow for the bed in any priced place.

Location

Main entrance wasn’t locked at night. Anyone could walk into house. One bath towel that smelled moldy.

Comfy bed. If you need a location close to La guardia, this is a good option. easy check in and check out, good bed and quick communication with the hosts. Close also to public transportation.

A lot of noise from the street and in the house. very basic accommodation.

Nice bed, TV, shower, frig, AC.

Hallway lights go out too soon. Hard to locate light switches upon arrival as the renovation did not alter their locations.

It is exactly as advertised. Small studio and everything in it works well. Neighbors are all great. Enjoyed my stay there. Was walkable to my work and 7 Train which is one stop from the LIRR. When I needed a rideshare I never waited more than 5 minutes. Smart TV has streaming apps, Roku, and Airplay. In two weeks I saw zero crime and I was out during early and late hours. Felt very safe. An abundance of places to eat out or get delivery. C-Town grocery store close by. Full size refrigerator, utensils, plates and bowls. Coffee maker and blender. Shower was very nice and always hot water.

No stove or oven. Cooking by microwave.
