"A desert inspiration"

9.0

A perfect house in a perfect spot Nature, quiet, beauty, great kitchen, bed, facilities. A dream house in the desert

Checkin was at 3. There was no electricity, or water when we got there. At 4:30-5 it was pitch dark, and cold and we sat hungry, with blankets on us until the electricity and water came back on at 7:15. . They told us there was an outage the day before and it would be until 6:30. . They said they are not responsible for outages but since they only informed us the day before not much we could have done about our arrival time. They said there would be emergency lights for us to see with , but never informed us ahead that the water system is dependant on electricity and therefore there will be no toilets, showers or kitchen faucet until electricity would come back on. The emergency lights didn't work as promised as they needed new batteries but needed to be opened with a screw driver to put them in which we didn't have. We asked for some compensention for this inconvenience but again was told they are not responsible. I asked for an extra hour or two on our departure day to make up the 4 1/2 hrs we lost but was answered that we would have to pay 65 dollars for each extra hour. I love this place. One of my favorutes ever but when something like this happens you should compensate and make the client happy.
