Villa Kubu Pratiwi - Villa 2

Phenomenal staff, went above and beyond to support and look after us, especially where my son became sick with Bali belly. Highly recommend.

The location was fantastic, staff were very helpful and the security guard infront was always nice and it was safe.

It wasnt clean enough and everything was old and run down. The toilets water pressure was slow. The pool waterfall wasnt working most of the times even when they said it was on timer is just never switched on and there were cockroaches in one of the rooms.

We had a fabulous stay for 1 night. We left very late the 2nd night for the airport. The staff were lovely - friendly and helpful. I had a problem transferring money to Indonesian bank account and they solved it for me. Security was very helpful when we couldn’t get gojeks. Location was great for walking to restaurants, massages, bars and markets. Lots of room, beautiful pool with frangipanis constantly dropping onto the water.

The furniture in the lounge room was pretty uncomfortable, it could definitely be updated. We were 7 people and 2 of us could not sleep in the room upstairs. You may as well be laying on the street - it was so noisy. We were grateful not to be trying to sleep the 2nd night. A great stay if you are 2 or even 3 couples. Then you can avoid that room.

The pool and facilities were great. Could walk or scooter to everything we needed. Staff were awesome

The powers went out while we were here but Staff attended to this and fixed it while we went to breakfast.

The size and location of the house provided a quiet and personal atmosphere even though we were in a busy location. It’s a very short walk through the local shops to Echo Beach. The staff is also wonderful. There’s someone there 24 hours a day, security sitting out front of the villa entrance overnights so anything you need assistance someone is available and that was quite helpful. The villa manager was on WhatsApp with me as well and was very friendly and communicative, even organizing early delivery and set up of our cribs and high chairs so we rolled into a villa that was immediately ready to go for our family.

The only little thing I could find to complain about would be that a few of the doors are a bit fragile to open and close. But that’s so minor I feel silly putting it on here. But it helps to highlight that this is a genuinely good place.
