Cozy & Comfy Cottage in the City - w parking

Location was incredible, the surroundings were quiet, check-in experience was simple, the host had exceptional communication, the cottage delivered exactly the cozy and comfy vibe that it promised.

Not something that I disliked but information that may be helpful to others. This home is over 100 years old. It is a quirky combination of renovations and changes over time. I loved it but not everyone will. Something to consider for those prone to environmental-based allergies or those who need specific physical accommodations. The upstairs drain takes a little longer to go down. The forced air upstairs is powerful. With the temperature set at 65 on the first floor, it was probably 15-degrees warmer upstairs. Normal things from older homes. I would stay there again.

I love that the property was in a nice area. The property was able to house me and my family for our weekend stay providing kitchenette, bathrooms, and sleeping areas. They had WiFi and 1 Roku TV in the living room that we could watch. The house wasn’t too far from downtown and it was easy to get to… only 20 min away from the airport.

It is an older cottage and there were parts of the property that just seemed to be like broken like doors, and the “maintenance closet” was behind this curtain in the laundry/mud room. Also upstairs was unleveled. And there were some spider webs on the furniture so I’m not sure how long the property was unoccupied. We couldn’t find the outside lights that lit up the front yard because it gets to be pitch black and there are deer in the neighborhood.

Fantastic location in pretty Mount Washington neighborhood. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby and close to an amazing view of the city skyline. It was very comfortable for 5 people and the furnishings were tastefully done. Lots of hot water and great water pressure. Kitchen was well appointed. We were visited every morning and late afternoon by 3 deer that seem to be living in the wooded area behind the house. Very cool.

2nd bathroom is really just a toilet in the laundry room but it was nice to have. The stairs to the second floor were steep and the steps a bit shallow so a word of caution to anyone with mobility issues. Outdoor lighting needs to be repaired / replaced.

Deers and groundhog walk by! Up on Mount Washington and only a short walk from the overlook over the city. All basic equipment is available.

Very easily furnished. In the entrance hall is a random toilet. Generally clean, but bath tub is already well used and the color worn off. Furniture also already well-used. Kitchen is well-equipped, but some things weren’t properly clean unfortunately.

Everything was working good en the house, its a quite place in a great location, a lot of privacy
