Very strong smell that the provided scented candle and air fresheners as well as opening windows didn’t solve.

The apartment was clean on arrival and modern. The location is good with some nice bars and restaurants just across the road and more just a short walk away. I was worried by some of the reviews I had read about the completely rusty fridge, hard to open door, heavily stained bedding, damp wall in the bedroom etc. On arrival there was a smell to the apartment which is being masked by a heavily scented plug in, but you often get a drainy sort of smell in some parts of Lanzarote so I knew what to expect. The fridge literally has a little line of rusty on the freezer door, but nothing so bad that it needed mentioning and the bed sheets were nice and clean. People expect the Radisson blu for the price they pay and let's face it, you're not going to get it. So in reality the reviews really were not correct. The worry and anxiety about where I had booked was really all for nothing. The only thing I would say is be careful of the shower, you have to have it facing down as I found out one day when taking a shower. I had not realised but the tray had not kept the water and had flooded the bathroom and gone out into the main room. It happens quite quickly and without you realising as the water pressure is quite powerful which is good, but can be a pain when you have to spend the next ten minutes mopping up. My fault completely, not a complaint, just a heads up.

I didn't like the fact that we were there for 10 days with no change of towels or bedding. Usually you get a change after 7 days in privately rented apartments so I felt that would have been better. Also a bottle of water would have been very much appreciated as our arrival was late and after the supermarket had closed. Luckily I had bought one at the airport but the chocolate that was left, although a nice touch, would have been most gratefully received if it had been water😉. The pillows are not the best and the beds are quite firm, but not so much that I didn't sleep. If you are going expecting a snack/pool bar as listed in the on-site facilities, there isn't one. But there is plenty outside.

Really enjoyed staying here. The location is very quiet, a little too quiet for myself however the amenities in the vicinity were excellent... and just a short walk to the beach and town too. Kitchen facilities were enough for the length of stay. Easy key pick up, very smooth arrival. Communication with the host was quick and efficient

The bedroom was abit damp and the hot water was temperamental but overall everything was awesome. The place was quite small but comfortable

Cooker not very good, no pans ,sofa broken, was fixed .
