The place was really nice and located in a really pastoral area. The room was clean and tidy. Nothing was missing in it. I really recommend it

There were some cobwebs in the room and two spiders other than that it was really really nice and good

"It's decent for 1 or 2 nights"

It's decent. Cozy little house, it has all the facilities you need for a quick night or two. It might be a bit too small for a longer stay. One or two nights is okay. Its about 12 minutes from Alkmaar. In the summer it would be a great place to crash in. We didn't meet the hosts. It's kinda like self check-in. The door was open, and keys were inside.

The place was clean enough, but it could be cleaner. I saw a few spiderwebs here and there. There was also a giant spider on the door. The goats and chicken might keep you from sleeping in. Also, the place looks a bit like a trailer park with more alike studios for rent. So if you are looking for an isolated place, away from people, then this is not it. They charge tourist tax, which is 1 euro per day per person. It should be written online so people know in advance.
