Moderns un kluss dzīvoklis 41 m2

The apartment is brand new, very clean, well planned organized space, has everything that you need, there is a desk to work/write, a dinner table, big wardrobe, a lot of kitchenware, etc. We had a short stay, but I can tell the place is great for longer stays. The windows are into quiet inner yard

For us it was all good, maybe someone avoids ground floors for any reason should know it is a ground floor - or wants to live right in the Old Town - it is ~25 min of walk.

I liked this place a lot. It had all the amenities and it was very clean and quiet. I often find that in this type of accommodations, owners tend to cut corners and furnish their apartments in the cheapest way possible. It certainly wasn't the case here. I also appreciated the tasteful decor and the well planned layout. The location, while not very central, is convenient enough and seems very safe, especially with half a dozen cop cars parked right outside :)

The shower drain was clugged, and it was very easy to flood the bathroom without shutting the water off every couple of seconds. I see how this was easily missed in housekeeping, but it was a bit of a nuisance. At times, there was also an unpleasant smell in the bathroom, which I assume came from the ventilation duct. It smelled of cat pee. My travel companion is a smoker, so I was looking for a place with a balcony or easy access to the outside. We were a bit disappointed when we saw big no smoking signs on the outdoor patio furniture. These were, however, minor problems that ultimately didn't spoil our stay in this otherwise awesome property.
