The place was beautiful and aesthetics were beautiful.

The host is as cold you could ever imagine. Nowhere in the booking does it mention that there'll be an extra charge for taking photod while at the property. Who pays a booking and they won't take photos. I was absolutely disgusted that Alta charged us R1000 extra over and above the booking fee just to take photos. We ended us paying R500 and she demanded this to be cash. I don't blame people who are not upfront in terms of their reason for booking. 11am on the dot, Brave the house manager came knocking on the door like a policeman looking for thieves, when I said I was still dressing, as my son opened the door to take our luggage to the car, he stood in the middle of the lounge and actually said to me, you disappointed us, we thought the house was going to be upside down. He even said after 11am the house belongs to me, I don't care whether you're showering or getting dressed you must open the door now! Such a pity to do and say such things. I left the house the same way I found it as my intentions were never to come and destroy. I had booked this place just for my son to get dressed and be ready for his Matric Dance but I was shocked at the lack of hospitality. Looks like Alta wants to make her place available for bookings, get money from people but she actually doesn't want people at her house. Please take this house off Bookings.com and Airbnb, you cannot host period! My sin was to be upfront and NO ALTA I was not having a party! The stay was so uncomfortable as I was made to feel like I'm a charity case that was begging for accommodation while I paid. You book and pay R3700 plus R500 per night and feel like you're imprisoned. I don't know what their previous experiences were but they treat people badly! Unacceptable and I think this is why they make their booking non-refundable! I would have canceled in a split second...

Great spacious property with a lovely garden and pool. Nice to have en-suites for all bedrooms.
