Host & Stay - Prospect Place

Komunikácia, poloha, čistota, vybavenie boli v poriadku a pobyt bol pre nás príjemný. Lôžková čas, ktorá je na poschodí je trochu stiesnenejšia ale na pár dní je to v poriadku. Trochu je problém s parkovaním, ale na základe inštrukcií sme si poradili aj s týmto problémom. Ďakujeme.

Koberce v lôžkovej časti by už potrebovali tepovať a tiež obklad a tesnenie okolo vane viac vyčistiť.

We have found the accommodation really cozy clean and suitable for our needs. Everything that we needed was already there and the garden is really lovely. A few extra sheets would have been great. Would definitely recommend.

Es una casa muy vieja, el baño con la cisterna estropeada, el grifo del lavabo sin presión y la ducha rota. Cuando vino el dueño de la casa a arreglarlo solo hizo un apaño… La casa es pequeña y en una de las camas el colchón más pequeño que el somier y da mala impresión. Escalera demasiado estrecha y empinada. La ubicación es buena y lo encontré limpio, pero sin productos o utensilios para poder limpiarlo durante mi estancia.

Very clean house. I loved its location near the city center. A very complete kitchen has all the utensils to prepare your meals. Large beds. There is internet and television channels. I recommend it. I would even repeat.

They gave me the wrong code but it was quickly fixed.

Very comfortable, quaint, but not very modern. Excellent location, quiet, but a short distance from town. Well equipped kitchen, with everything you could need.

No hot water in bathroom, which has been regularly noted in other reviews. The house is like a Tardis in reverse, and would probably feel quite cramped for more than two people. Television only had basic, free channels. Some DVDs provided on the bookshelf……..but no DVD player!

Hot water for shower is not hot enough We ask for more toilet paper but they didn't provide, we have four people staying for 10days and they just provide us 2 and a half rolls Floor was dirty when we check-in We ask for one more rubbish bag and they didn't provide also, the rubbish bin was full and we just want to replace and throw the rubbish outside The flush button of the toilet upstairs was broken,it stuck when press and cannot pop up automatically, so the water keeps running down

Clean and comfortable. Lovely little house. Everything you need to make your stay nice. Husband is in Canterbury Hospital so was nice not to have to travel far .

Near to city center, good location.

We had a problem with hot water. We complated many times, but someone did not fix it for a whole week. If anything happen you can just call to the renting agency...so we were disappointed.

The property was close to the city center (about a 10-minute walk) which made it very easy for us to move back and forth. There's also a bus stop a few meters away (like 30 seconds to 1 minute away from the property) so if we wanted to use the bus it was also very easy to do so. The property is nicely quiet and very pretty with a well-equipped kitchen and a beautiful quaint backyard which I imagine would be wonderful during the warmer months. They also had many games and books which was nice for the day we had extra time in the evening. We especially liked the dining area as it was quite cute and very aesthetic for those who like to take pictures :) Overall we loved it and will be booking again when we visit Canterbury again.

The heating system for the shower was a little complicated for us to use and we didn't quite figure it out as our stay was so short. We didn't have much time to ask about it either as we were quite busy during our stay. The staircase was also quite small but I think it's a European/British thing to have them this way :) May be good to know in case you're visiting with someone who has difficulty climbing stairs.
