Location and cleanliness.

Lots of steps upto apartment quite tiring in the hot weather especially for pensioners.

It was close to the town centre

It took 60+ steps to get from your car to the living room. Parking was very, very tight and confusing. You would think that flat 8 would use parking space 8, but no, it was number 13, and they didn't tell you that on the paperwork.

One of the best places we've stayed in Whitby. Excellent location. One parking space then a parking permit for our other car to park close by which was ideal. The cottage itself was great and the garden was ideal when the weather was nice Thursday and Friday. Dog friendly too which is a big plus for us!

This wasn't an issue for us but there are quite a few steps up to the property so just be mindful if you have any mobility issues when booking.

Super standard of accommodation with 2 bathrooms, comfy beds and excellent kitchen. Good TV with Netflix too. Nice seating area, safe for dogs and young children. Close to town. WiFi excellent.

63 steps from the car to the top floor kitchen was hard. The parking space and ability to turn or line up was difficult but it did take a large 4x4 OK. Broomfield Terrace is a narrow pain of a road. The details were economical with details of parking availability on Booking.com. It only said free and no reservation required. It wasn't until the joining instructions that it was clear there was only one space but a card system with free parking for 4 days on streets 5 minutes walk away up a steep hill was the best offer. With the size of the house 2 cars coming must be common? Finally, Host and Stay bombard with messages about things local which probably can be researched on Google and are a bit threatening if you don't do things right like overstay the 10am kick out time for example.

The location was amazing, so close to the centre of Whitby. The rooms were comfortable, clean and airy. The beds were good and bathrooms a good size. We loved the large window/balcony in the living room with a great view. Communication was good and clear, and easy access to property.

The car parking space wasnt very clear, maybe my own fault as tried to park in number 8, instead of looking for cottage name. The space to park is super tight to try fit in. There was a lot of stairs from the parking space up to the property, then 3 floors up to kitchen with the shopping. We didn't mind the exercise but it's worth keeping it in mind if not 100% fit.

A weekend in Whitby with 4adults and 2 children- the location was superb. The accommodation was excellent for our needs. Do not go here if you have any mobility issues as there are lots of stairs. Parking is very tight, but useable. The house is comfortable and quite well equipped. It was clean with nice towels provided.
