St. Pierre Park Hotel & Golf

The staff were exceptional. It was an extremely busy time for them, with the large 'Blingo' charity event taking place over 2 nights. Despite staff shortages they were working to the best of their abilities. I would like to thank Abbie, Ben and Paul in particular. On reception Ralf and his wife were wonderful. Sara and ? Pauline in the breakfast area was also excellent. These were all a credit to your organisation.

The pressures of the huge charity event meant long waits at the bar on the Friday and Saturday evenings. The impact on Sunday was that certain items on the restaurant menu were unavailable, this meant that for my Sunday meal rather than a delicious 'posh nosh' I had to settle for a rather unimpressive burger. No good.

The breakfast selection was superb and the staff very attentive. The bar area was very comfortable, clean and homely. One of the bar attendants stood out from the crowd, I believe his name was Ben. Very efficient, organised, hard working pro active man. A natural rapport and very engaging with every guest. He is a credit to you.

The only thing I can say about improvements, very minor observations which can be remedied fairly quickly are :- The comfy bar area at the lower level, I couldn’t help but notice three chairs looking very tired, the under seating is frayed and hanging down. The flower troughs on the Terrace were in dire need of water and were starting to die. My self and friend Nicole mentioned on several occasions to various staff that flowers needed a drink. 4 days past by until Ben became aware and immediately came to their rescue. Nicole and I enjoyed the spa facilities but we were a little disappointed that there were no slippers provided to go with our dressing gowns. One other observation, sitting on the terrace every night to enjoy the view while supping on your delicious hot chocolate, talking etc, it does get a bit chilly. It would be lovely if the hotel provided outdoor blankets for their guests. Such a shame we had to go inside because we got too cold. Just a thought.

Breakfast was lovely . Location of the hotel was great and on a bus route .

We had dinner in the restaurant on the Friday night which was excellent so we went back on the Saturday night but had to wait over 30 minutes for our drink order after letting them know we were waiting . We then had to wait an hour and a half for our meals to come out . Very disappointed and the food was no where near the quality of the Friday night . Shame as the Hotel is lovely

Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Zudem hatte unser Zimmer einen schönen Blick in den Garten mit einem kleinen See.

In der Nähe des Hotels befindet sich eine stark befahrene Straße, der Verkehrslärm war deutlich zu hören.

lovely spacious hotel in a beautiful setting. Breakfast was very good with a wide selection of cold and cooked options - my husband ordered scrambled eggs one morning that were a bit sloppy, but otherwise everthing was fine. Very friendly and professional staff

Our room was well positioned with a private terrace overlooking the garden; however I do think that it would be beneficial if there was a means of separating the adjoining terrace with a screen to give additional privacy when sunbathing as you are overlooked. The room was well proportioned with plenty of storage space, and on the ground floor for easy access if guests had mobility issues or had young children. The room staff were excellent and maintained the room and all the facilities to a very high standard.

Just one thing that I found irritating. On our last evening the hotel hosted a Blingo event so about 240 guests came into the hotel (which was great for the hotel's income and for the staff) however not much thought had been given to the hotel paying guests as the large bar/dining area was sectioned off for this event, pushing the paying guests into quite a tight area (some of the hotel guests looked in and when they saw how constrained it was just decided to go elsewhere for the evening); however adjacent to this area is their fine dining room which should have been opened up for all the paying hotel guests.
