Host Stay St Radigunds House

Very good

Mold has taken over the cottage and now everything we took on the trip smells like mildew. I may have to buy replacement suitcases. My cpap machine filter turned black from 4 nights use in that place. I can only imagine what is in my lungs from breathing the air during my stay. We had to keep windows open at all times that we were inside; to keep the moldy smell from making us sick. The antiques are nice to look at but not comfortable to use. The shower is barely a drip and it was impossible to get an even or usuable temperature to complete even one shower without hassle. The stairways are SO narrow and steep that they were dangerously hard to go up and down, and prevented us from being able to take our suitcases up to the bedrooms. We had to leave all of our things downstairs in the living room. An elderly or disabled person would not be able to manage the stairs at all. I am glad my aunt chose not to stay with us. She would have been forced to fond last-minute accommodation somewhere else. Added to all of that, was the constant construction noise from the work going on next door. They really shouldn't have allowed bookings during the construction. That all said, the area is really nice and if the issues with construction noise, plumbing, staircase dangers and the MOLD were fixed, it would be a lovely little place.

Lots! Car park pass but no indication of which car park it related to so wasted loads of time working that out. Rang host and stay - they were supposed to fey back to us and didn't. Lounge was dark and smell musty. Uncomfortable seating so did not want to spend time in the house. Stairs really steep! No hot water to bathroom sink. If you plug in the heater under the sink, water leaks all over the floor. Was clean but felt like it had been done on the cheap
