The unit is lovely, the view is amazing!

The advertisement says aircon, wifi and a gas braai....non of it working! In actual fact the aircons is totally disconnected...the wifi is there but not working...the gas braai is there but the gas bottle is empty...we arrived on a Friday and only got a small Weber braai the Wednesday evening and we left the Friday morning again... didn't even use it..was so small. I feel if you advertize things you should have them that is what we paid for that is why I booked the unit because of the aircons. The host gave me the housekeepers number to arrange for the gas bottle (I feel that is something she should have done) there was an power outage to a large part of Margate when I asked the houskeeper is the power is on yet she sarcastically told me to switch on a light and check...I asked because we were not there as we took our daughters friend to the airport. You can book in from 14:00 we arranged to be there between 14:00 and 15:00 and that was accepted. They were still cleaning the unit when we arrived at 15:00 and had to wait almost another hour for them to finish. I feel the upkeep of the building is lacking...the balcony railing on both sides are loose and will definitely have to be fixed before there is an accident.

Was fully equipped!

It is a local beach. To much noise of all the taxis.

1. The apartment was nice apart from some things. 2. The view is beautiful 3. Had most accessories required for a self catering unit. 4. The ensuite shower was lovely. 5. I appreciated the fact that a set of children's toys for the sand was available. 6. The lighting inside and on the balcony was great.

1. Braai was dirty and unusable 2. Fitting on the wall near the lights is broken 3. Shower in shared bathroom is broken 4. Wifi is slow and did not work for most of the stay. 5. Cockroaches popped up frequently, we had to wash all dishes prior to usage 6. Entry door handle is broken 7. Entry door difficult to open 8. Not contact from agent to check in on our stay 9. No contact for checkin, we had to contact the agent and fetch the key from a garage. 10. We chose the apartment for the aircon, upon arrival, no aircona works. When we WhatsApped the agent, Nicole said, " aircon broken, unable to fix it. Sorry about that". 11. We were not given an option for someone to come clean(at our own cost atleast). 12. The rust on the main gate was so bad, I felt disgusted to even open it.
