Burnham Market is one of the nicest villages in North Norfolk, this property is just on the outskirts. It’s an easy short walk to the centre. Peaceful location.

This property was disappointing (especially for almost £400 a night !!). It was very basic & uninspiring. No effort had been made to make it inviting or homely. The sofa was tired, scatter cushions flat & lifeless. Bed linen didn’t fit the bed, pillows were worse than the cushions! We had one toilet roll (between 4 people & 2 bathrooms) not even any hand soap. No fresh milk, cheap crockery, dirty glasses. Minimal effort for high rates make it poor value for money. It appears like the owner has little involvement. Communication beforehand was generic/automated.

It was cold unwelcoming and did not smell fresh.

Excellent location, 5 minute walk from Burnham Market main square with easy parking for two cars. The site was very quiet and the different cabins not too crowded/close to each other. Very modern inside and well equipped. We had an issue with one of the shower taps and Norfolk Cottages which manage the property were very responsive and sent someone the same day to fix it.

We brought this to the attention of Norfolk Cottages managing the property that the condition of the property was let down by poor cleaning between guests, matresses stained as they do not use matress covers before putting sheets on the bed, accumulation of dirt and dust around the skirting boards and edges of the bath and shower and the inside of wardrobe drawers full of hair and dust from previous guests, this we cleaned for ourselves before unpacking as really it wasn’t hygienic. Again, Norfolk Cottages were helpful and responsive when we raised this with them and they promised to speak to the cleaning team so we hope it is better for future guests.

Great location, within easy walk of Burnham Market. Lovely and clean very comfortable lodge. Very quiet and peacful.

A few more glasses would have been good.
