Location was excellent.Breakfast was very good quality & plenty of it. Nothing too much trouble for our hosts, Dave & Bernie.😀 Very handy information pack explaining places of interest. Will definitely be returning. 👍😀

Everything was absolutely amazing! To start with, the breakfast each morning was more than plentiful with an abundance of variety. The cooked food was some of the best we've ever eaten, and I loved that we could pick and choose what we wanted as part of the full English, before it was freshly prepared. The hosts were so friendly, and offered such comfortable conversation. We never felt that a show was put on for us, yet the conversation was easy and we never felt pressured to engage more than we were comfortable. They were incredibly knowledgeable about the local area and which attractions were good and which weren't. Our trip would have been 10 times less enjoyable had it not been for their expertise and patience in explaining where each point of interest was and their gentle suggestions of day itineraries (although we never felt pressured to do anything that was not of interest to us). The rooms were immaculately clean, and most importantly, there was an abundance of tea in our rooms (and coffee/hot chocolate). The rooms were also really comfortable, with an abundance of storage space. We had 24/7 access to a kitchen as well making it more than possible to cover lunches and suppers if we didn't want to eat out. If I could rate this place a 12/10, I would. Additionally, there is ample parking and we felt safe leaving our car there.

The hosts are such lovely people. The property is calm and peaceful, we also loved the garden. The extra touches, such as use of a kitchen and the wall display of wonderful artwork by their incredibly talented daughter was exceptional.

There was absolutely nothing to dislike!
