17A Stella house nr Bath

Nagyon szép volt a ház, jó környéken volt. Minden szobához volt fürdőszoba, amire nem számítottunk. Nagyon kényelmes volt 8 főnek.

Sajnos a tisztasággal voltak gondjaink. A sütőben benne volt a koszos tepsi.Ami ennél rosszabb volt, az egyik szobában a paplanhuzat nem volt tiszta, konkrétan sajnos vérfoltok voltak rajta. Ez elég kiábrándító volt.

Spacious, clean, lovely kitchen. Beautifully decorated throughout, perfect size for a family with adult children. Central location for going out and about.

WiFi not great which effected the tv working properly. The showers were scorching and noisy for those downstairs.

Very roomy, large kitchen diner. All the beds were comfortable and it was nice having three of the four bedrooms with ensuits

Internet was a little slow but you can live with that

The accommodation was great, 4 bedroom house with 4 bathrooms which was perfect for an extended family of 8. It is very spacious and also clean and seemed to be very recently refurbished. Checking in was quite easy. Location is in a bit of an industrial area it seems, but having a car, this was not an issue. There was also a shop for necessities within walking distance (5 mins) which is a plus.

The lounge area and bedrooms, with ensuites were all comfortable. The lounge TV was a great as size, and the couches albeit run down, we're reasonably comfortable. The kitchen on first glance is nice, open plan kitchen.

We were really disappointed with our stay. From the moment we arrived, there was no warm welcome, no guide to the property, not even a simple welcome pack — just a rather scruffy exterior and a patch of fake grass that had seen better days. It didn’t help that the listing made it sound like a charming spot near Bath, but in reality, it was tucked away on a run-down back road, surrounded by garages and industrial buildings. Definitely not the picturesque area we were expecting. Inside wasn’t much better. The cooker was so dirty we didn’t feel safe using it, and to make matters worse, we had no hot water the first day or night. That meant everyone — five adults and a young child — had to wait until 1am to finally bathe. Not exactly the start to a relaxing stay. We reached out for help, but it took four emails, three phone calls, and a couple of follow-ups with booking.com before we got a response. Eventually, we found out the issue was due to their heating system being left on ‘HOLIDAY’ mode. We were offered a refund for the second night — but that didn’t make up for the stress and inconvenience of the first. We ended up eating out and only used the house to sleep. Sadly, the host wasn’t receptive to our concerns and claimed we were expecting too much, even though we were polite and just wanted some basic understanding. Not the experience we were hoping for at all.

Self catering basis.. Everything that we needed was there. Lots of room.. Small outdoor space but big enough for us.

More teaspoons needed as we only had 1.. and more tea towels needed as we also only had 1.
