The apartment was decent overall. The bed was comfortable, the AC worked fine, and the TV was okay. The hosts were responsive via WhatsApp and replied to our needs when we contacted them.

However, the hosts/landlords never showed up at the apartment in person (for admin tasks, passport, or to answer potential questions). During a 7-day stay, I expected towels, toilet paper, and bed sheets to be changed automatically around the 3rd or 4th day without us having to ask. The place also wasn’t very clean (especially the floor and wardrobe), and there were no basic kitchen items like plates or bowls.

Small, and the description was a lie

The location

It was advertised on booking.com as a whole house consisting of 1 bedroom, living area and I think a kitchen as well when it was just a double room with an ensuite and small fridge and kettle and some tea bags. I went to change the bed sheets and when I pulled back the sheets I discovered the mattress cover was full of all kinds of hairs including body hairs and stains from previous guests 😡 I notified the owners of this they offered me the cost of the cleaning which was €65 I paid just over €400 plus €7 environmental changes for my stay. To say I was disappointed with my stay would be an understatement. There was also building works going on in the house next door all day from 8.30am until evening time I ended up staying out of the accommodation until at least 8pm every evening 😢

The location was great and really easy to visit around and go to everywhere. The room was clean and comfy. The host was kind, helpful and easy to reach. It was a great stay :)
