"C’est La Vie has great potential, but a few improvements"

C’est La Vie is undeniably a beautiful property, with stunning, unobstructed views of the sea and a peaceful atmosphere that makes it ideal for a relaxing getaway. The quiet surroundings were a real highlight—perfect for unwinding and enjoying nature.

We did play some music one afternoon, well before the 9pm cutoff, but unfortunately received complaints and were informed of a strict no-noise policy. It would be helpful if this was clearly communicated in advance, as it did catch us off guard. The living room fireplace was a lovely touch and added a cozy charm to the space. However, the rest of the house lacked heating, which made sleeping quite uncomfortable, especially during cooler nights. Additionally, the property ran out of toilet paper during our stay, which was unexpected and inconvenient. Considering the premium cost of the rental, I believe management should address these issues to better align the experience with the price point. That said, the staff during booking and check-in were exceptionally helpful and courteous, which we really appreciated. Overall, C’est La Vie has great potential, but a few improvements would make it truly exceptional.

"Lovely setting, beautiful house."

Beautiful comfortable house with a lovely view.

Think a big door gate at the bottom of the stairs will keep out uninvited guests who we struggled to get rid of. Also, no braaibak or braai utensils

"Lovely location, would have liked the accommodation to have been better."

The location was lovely , right by the beach.

The house its self was in need of some updating and TLC. The information should state that there is NO laundry facilities. We did use the local service which we had no problem with however we were not aware until we arrived. The outside dining table is old and needs replacing.

The fishermen used trucks a lot of the night and it is noisy. Plus the beach area in front of the house is full of broken glass
