We had an absolutely wonderful family stay at D’Village Cottage 2 from 19th to 23rd March. Everything exceeded our expectations! The swimming pool was a true highlight for us — clean, well-maintained, and perfect for both kids and adults to relax and enjoy. It quickly became our favorite spot to unwind after a day out. The location is excellent — peaceful and surrounded by nature, there is even a family of monkeys that live nearby, yet still conveniently close to key attractions and essentials. It gave us the perfect balance between relaxation and accessibility. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and very well kept. The cleanliness and thoughtful setup made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived.

There were just a couple of minor downsides: the absence of a washing machine was a bit inconvenient for a family stay, There is a commercial washing machine store nearby if you don’t mind the wait. The other thing is the internet connection consistently went offline between 2 AM and 3 AM each day.

La piscine même si c’est dommage que les jets d’eau coulaient en permanence dans la journée et étaient bruyants. La réactivité et gentillesse de l’hôte

Logement très mal équipé (peu de verres / couverts). Logement très mal isolé:on entend les voisins comme si ils étaient dans le Même appartement et la route juste derrière.

The Outside area and pool

The bathrooms. Once you shower you have to wear shoes to go into the bathroom/use the toilet because the floor will be wet. Also really loud because it is near the main road.

Private Pool was easy and convenient with kids and we swam everyday, Clean bathrooms and comfy beds. great outdoor lounging area. Pool Cleaners & Maids came regularly. Hot water showers were nice even if had them on cool most of the time. Theres a giant water filter machine for ice cold/hot water so no need to stress over buying bottles water. fake grass garden are meant that it was comfy for the kids to play outside. easily walkable to the main Cenang beach area.

Minor inconveniences. Kitchen are was a little lacking for a family, the sink was in a difficult position to washup. no cooking facilities except a microwave. (We ate out most meals as its convenient & cheap but it might have made a few days easier to have a stove/bbq). the pool has steps inside that have fairly protruding sharp edges which everyone in our Party caught a shin on as its difficult to see them. Some noise from the main road can be heard late at night
