The room is really clean and spacious

Beatiful house. Clean room.

Two bad things: 1. The air conditioner was bad - infact, it only can cool the room. The thing is, Hue city is very cold in the winter time. 2. The fan in the toilette (for taking air in the toilette out) was broken, but no fix. One warning: I was requested by the receptionist to pay while driving in the mountain area - with weak phone and 4G signal. The thing is I carefully phoned some days ago to confirm my arrival and ask if I had to pay some amount in advance - and the hotel confirmed that I can pay at in cash at the hotel. Badly!

No bicycles (guesthouses usually have some for free use, but this one no). That would be a cheap but helpful improvement, especially since the hotel is outside the city-center. Lots of karaoke in the neighbourhood

The homestay surroundings was very nice, we've got great view from the balcony. The staff was super friendly and supportive (They had an aunty to help with receptions and take care of guests). The location is quite convenient and car accessible.

Although I appreciate the staff's attitude, there are some feedback I need to give and hope the homestay can improve in the future. The bed is not comfortable to sleep on. I think they should change to another type of mattress which is thicker and more firm. There was weird smell when we first entered the room (I guess the smell came from the pipeline), so we had to ask to change to another room. The hygiene of the facilities was poorly maintained. The bath towels seemed damp and didn't smell fresh. Luckily we brought our own towels. The tissue box next to the bed had termites due to its materials. We stayed at a room that its balcony is shared with the room next door, and the balcony door cannot be locked. I hope it will be fixed very soon. All these things added up and caused an unpleasant stay, so I hope the homestay can take it and improve, even though that means the room fees might be higher.
