The staff and overall response of Rita and Ratna mam was very comforting ..... the place was very neatly maintained. The surrounding was calm . It is well connected and easily reachable by car as well as metro

All, we stayed two times, very nice place with all you need to have a great stay in Kolkata. Place is calm, safe, lots of space. Owner and staff did their best to make us feel at home. Thank you.

The room is pretty comfortable. The property is in a quiet part of town.

The hosts do not seem comfortable to accommodate short-term guests. This becomes a problem. I was receiving messages on my phone at all hours of day and night. When will I prepay in Rupees? When will I send my ID in advance? When will I return to the property in the evening? (It must be before 10.30pm because the doors are locking - this should be included in the Booking.com regulations). WiIl I remember the curfew and will I bear with them for this? When will I return the key on check out? etc etc. It all seemed rather panic stricken, imperious and detracted from any peace. I was frankly very relieved to depart.

I loved everything about my stay. It is located in one of the safest and poshest areas in Kolkata. Reeta Basu Di’s place is beautiful, clean, and comfortable. She has an eye for elegance. She is an extraordinary human being that goes above and beyond to make her guests feel at home. I have found a new home in Kolkata. I highly recommend everyone to stay here.
