Clean, spaces for kids to play in the garden, washing machine and dryer

Location was good, private parking alao good

Garden was like a jungle, did request for it to be cut on arrival and was assured that someone was coming that afternoon to cut it and asked for us to leave a key in the box which we did. No one came to do the garden. My son tripped and fell in the garden many times and grazed his knees on patio as you could not see the slabs due to it being full of weeds and overgrown grass, the big garden was the reason we booked this house as we have 5 children. Swinning chair in garden had a hole in it which resulted in the children falling through it and getting stuck, which is another hazard. Tv areal cable straddled across the floor in the lounge and also cables across floor in main bedroom to the TV which had no remote and was unusable which was also a safety hazard for the children. Pictures must have been taken a few years ago as property was not as photos and was in a state of neededing alot if repair and maintanance work. Rug was also curled up on corners which was also a big trip hazard to the kids with the glass coffee table also close by. If we knew that the garden was not going to be cut as promised we would have cancelled and stayed elsewhere.

Upon arrival there was a broken vase sat on coffee table and I contacted them and they requested a email of photo, I was very conscious finding this as didn't want my children being cut, Later on discovered a broken bed and the maid had still made bed up to look not broken but it's very broken,luckily i found a tesco shopping basket in there cupboard that i was able to wedge the frame of the bed up to allow us to use it as it was the whole rail on the floor with a couple of slats broken aswell.again I emailed them photos and there was 6 of us staying yet only 3 forks in the property all round I felt let down, and to top it off they charged my credit card for the broken item and now I can't get messages through but spoke on phone earlier and just been throbbed off, Overall the property is nice but let down by not being looked after well and having staff that clearly don't walk round with open eyes or take pride in ensuring that everything is in good working order prior to someone's arrival, the location suited us, and hopefully I can resolve the payment they have taken, my photos have a time stamp on my phone and we have arrival time and first contact was within minutes of arrival,
