How the breakage deposit refund process is handled, till today I haven't received my money whereas nothing was broken in the property, and the host is not responding to my messages.

"UNRELIABLE OWNER THAT DOUBLE BOOKS"

We will not recommend it as the owner is unreliable and double booked us and then lied about it. See below further explanation.

We were a family that had to check in on the Thursday for the weekend (coming from overseas and different places in South Africa). Thursday morning the owner contacted us to explain we cannot check in as they had "washing machine" problems and the maintenance guys had to first fix the issue. We were checked into another house for the night. The next morning we had to check out of the house at 10 am and went over to the house we booked, only to see there was other guests that stayed the night and was waiting to check out. We were told we cannot check in on the Thursday because of maintenance, but the maintenance guys only showed up on the Friday while we were hanging around and waiting for the crew to clean. This is totally unacceptable to us, we paid a lot of money for this property to stay there. To be lied to as the owner double booked. The property is also not in a great condition compared to the price you pay and the pictures online with lots of things that you would expect to be taken care of. The owner is not reliable and I would not book this property.
