There was no breakfast. The location was noisy with dogs and roosters making noise all night. The area was like a 3rd world slum. No place to get food. Did not feel safe going outside.

It's affordable

The place is renovated but it's clearly not finished. No storage room, no bedside table. The shower was cold. It was also plugged in to the wall with a cable. The fridge had a really weird smell and didn't seem to work properly, there was something left in the freezer from a guest before. Same for the kitchen cabinets: used brush and toothpaste and they weren't clean. No utensils like forks spoon or knives, only a pan that didn't seem clean. No cleaning supplies either, you have to bring everything. They only give you tiny soaps for the body and that's it. Only two towels for three people, I asked for more and they said yes but never brought them over. No sheets or blankets for the person sleeping on the couch. The neighborhood is very noisy, you will hear birds all night and there are a lot of dogs around (they are very nice tho!). During the check in we didn't got a code to the entrance, we just found the keybox open, don't know if it was on purpose.

We didn't have enough towels, sheets, pillows or toiletries. When we communicated these issues, there were no answers. We got ghosted.

Serious concerns with this listing, I believe I was definitely scammed. First of all, I was asked to submit a payment externally through Zelle, I should have immediately questioned this, but I was outside the property and was a bit desperate to stay somewhere. Secondly, this listing was located in a questionable neighborhood overall. Third, a serious safety concern inside the unit: exposed wires and likely an illegal electrical outlet next to the shower head to provide hot water. The water flow was minimal, a shower was difficult, and the concern of being electrocuted gave me the ultimate reason for leaving this unit. The unit is an attic-type space above what I believe is a garage or another unit. This unit has louvered shutters on the exterior of the windows that do not seal the windows up. There are three windows in total, two are covered by curtains on the inside, the third is completely uncovered, without a screen, and the shutters are broken and open to the outside. Naturally this allows insects, concerningly mosquitoes, to enter the unit at all times. These exposed windows also allow outside smells inside the unit, as well as loud neighborhood street noise. This was a large source of discomfort and lack of desire to stay in this unit. The following two are easily fixable items to help achieve comfort: one, the bathroom door handle broke off when opening the bathroom door, it needs to be fixed. secondly, the unit has no closet space or clothing rack. A simple installation of a a clothing rack on the wall, or a portable closet unit would be very helpful to guests. Overall I was very uncomfortable at this space, and ultimately left the unit, and contacted Booking.com for immediate support. I ended up renting a unit elsewhere for my entire stay. ***Scam alert: the hosts stopped responding to me and Booking.com. Booking.com gave them 48 hours with no response, and ultimately told me there's nothing Booking.com can do about my full payment gone.***
