USLocation is perfect! Appreciated elevator, especially when handling bags. Traveled with group of 6 women, absolutely enough space for all of us.
On our first day, a man was aggressively yelling at our group when we entered the building. We did not encounter again until the last day. On the last day, management had kindly allowed us to store our luggage until 12:30 pm. When we arrived to get our bags, the foyer door was locked from the inside. Our entire trip, the door was able to easily be opened. Despite the key, and a second resident also locked out, we began buzzing doorbells, hoping to get assistance from the inside of the building. We buzzed the "angry" man unknowingly, and he was screaming at us through the intercom. I contacted management and they were sending help, when a 3rd resident telephone "angry" man and convinced him to buzz us in. ********* Fortunately, our taxi driver waited almost a 1/2 hr, and additionally tried to talk to the "angry" man.****** To clarify, this man seems to have mental health issues, and causes problems with the one female resident we were locked out with. He did not bother us when we were inside the apartment, but I do not know if an unsuspecting traveler would welcome a scary encounter. Perhaps potential renters should be made aware.
USGreat location, comfortable, interesting building, had Al amenities needed.
Unfortunately there was a sewer smell in the middle bathroom and it permeated the apt at times. No traps, or problems either the trap. Also an extra key would be helpful if possible, since there were 7 of us we sometimes did different things, and one extra set would have been good.
