We just spent two nights here but I can tell that the owner was really helpful and the house is amazing. Old but well renovated and comfortable. I really recommend it.

Maybe one thing, it was a little cold but it has air conditioner so it wasn’t big problem.

Man får vad man betalar för, så inget att klaga på. Trevlig och hjälpsam ägare till hotellet som även driver den trevliga pizzerian (rekommenderar ett besök där) som ligger på torget nedanför.

O hotel fica nesse local. - Fica no segundo andar sem elevador, pelo menos 4 lances grandes de escada, descoberto. Chegamos com uma mala muito grande e precisamos deixar no carro. Não teve como subir. Atenção a esse ponto se tiver problema de mobilidade, idosos ou malas grandes. - Escolhemos o quarto com vista para a cidade. A vista era para um quintal. Não condizente com o anúncio. Pontos positivos e negativos: - Difícil de achar👎 - Acessibilidade bem ruim com escada e área descoberta 👎 - Equipe de atendimento de check in muito atenciosa 👍 - Depois de vencer a "chegada" o apto é reformado, bastante agradável e limpo 👍 - Banheiro amplo, bom chuveiro, boa rouparia e mobília👍 - Itens de higiene pessoal de qualidade razoável. Não compatível com hotel boutique 👎 - Super central, acesso fácil a área histórica, muitas lojas e restaurantes perto 👍 - Café da manhã incluído, com itens industrializados, não há pães frescos, queijo, ovos... Tudo de "saquinho". Ok para estadia curta. Mas oferece café e chá de boa qualidade.

I really liked the quirky decoration, the cookies and the location, right in the heart of the old town.

We had a very enjoyable stay, so there wasn't anything which we disliked. We were a little confused at first by breakfast - unsure if fresh things came in each day or not, and whether there were particular timings. But once we worked that out, all was good

The description is a bit misleading. The place itself is nice but hard to find at first. It’s a 8-10 min walk from the port and the station. It’s located centrally and the little pizza restaurant at the bottom of the building is delicious. You are sharing the common area with other people, like if you’re living in a dorm. You have your room and attached bathroom but the living space is shared. The breakfast in the morning is good and quick and it’s a clean place. The host is nice as well.

The only highlight of our stay was the 24-hour snacks, including butter cookies, fresh fruits, cold orange juice, and an automatic espresso machine for cappuccino. However, make sure to wash the fruit yourself, especially the grapes, as they don’t clean them.

Unfortunately, there were several negative aspects. First, the property is in an old building with many stairs, making it difficult to reach. The check-in process was frustrating—despite arriving at the exact check-in time, we had to go to a nearby restaurant to call a specific person. This man was unprofessional and overly talkative, which was exhausting after our long journey. Instead of quickly checking us in and letting us rest, he spent a significant amount of time chatting with other guests who had already checked in and then continued a lengthy, pointless conversation with us. The bed and room were also small, with the bed being too short. While the room was clean upon arrival, there was no daily cleaning, even after we requested it. The cleaning staff only straightened the bed cover without mopping the floor or replacing towels and bed linens. They didn’t even replenish toilet paper, and when we asked, they provided us with a very low-quality replacement.

Lovely place!

Room is newly furnished in the strategic location, the host is very attentive and polite. Very recommended for the trip to Amalfi Coast.
