Everything was great

This little gem is hidden away at the bottom of a hill and when you walk up the steps at the front of the property the view is amazing. It reminds me of The Holiday, with Jude Law. Waterford is beautiful and the house matches it perfectly. There's a tiny Harry Potter toilet under the stairs to match the kids themed room upstairs (great use of space) a sitting room and a dining room (if you don't mind eating at floor level - perfect for kids on cushions!) And the bedrooms are all nicely sized with two doubles, and a single as well as a sofa bed in the dining room that I spied. The place really is a home from home. It even has a walk in shower separate to the bath! There is a conservatory attached to the sitting room which is lovely and clearly previously been used as a home workspace. And the garden is pretty too! Kitchen is small but has all mod cons. Apart from no milk or tea bags... (ever been to Yorkshire and not found Tea? Haha) that was a first for me as I riffled through the kitchen cupboards and found everything but sugar tea and milk. Lol. Other than that I can't fault this magical place. It really was a dream and I will be back for certain. One thing I will point out though is this is a home rental and NOT a hotel. If you are looking to go to somewhere you can store your clothes in a wardrobe and iron your trousers this isn't for you. This house is full of nic nacs. Like everywhere. Books, collectors items, memorabilia, personal items. Luckily we are happy to live out of our suitcase and bags and so this place suited us to the ground. And I actually really loved the personal touch. However Lord knows how you will find everything after my two rifled through it. Just incase... the TV remote is ontop the door in the games bag in the kids room, and the TY baby seal is safely in your bed side draw. (Top one!) Oh and the 3 magnets are by the front door! As I say BEST STAY EVER love Sara, Oli, Livvy and Ivy xx
