Bumpy approach lane Needs more opening windows

Location was perfect for us visiting Bamburgh and Holy Island.

Nowhere to sit out but it wasn't the end of the world.

Lovely cosy cottage. Very good facilities. Made for a very relaxing stay.

Nowhere to sit outside

The property was clean and tidy, creating a welcoming atmosphere from the moment we arrived. The addition of fresh milk and biscuits was a pleasant surprise, adding a touch of hospitality to our stay. The beds were comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep for our family. Additionally, having two bathrooms was a definite plus, making the morning routine less stressful.

We were disappointed by the lack of enclosed outside space, especially for our dogs, who would have appreciated a bit of outdoor freedom.

Good location, well presented, clean and tidy. The house was spacious and the sleeping arrangements suited us well.

Only grumble was the austere / compulsory insurance we had to take out to stay at the property. Not experienced that before. Would be better to include that cost in the overall price or work on the basis that most people would volunteer to cover cost of any damage if the same occurred. Other than that- great stay!
