値段が安く、家族で過ごすのにちょうどよかった。部屋のデザインもよかった。

Our family enjoyed staying here for 3 nights. We wanted to experience living like a local in a residential suburb. This traditional 2 storey corner home is perfect and has all the modern conveniences including a washing machine and clothes dryer. Two bedrooms upstairs with sliding doors for privacy are separated by a desk/study area where we placed our luggages without cluttering the bedrooms. The kids got to sleep on futons (mattresses on the tatami floor). The kitchen is renovated, fully equipped and perfect for breakfast before we head off to see the sights. Being Japan, there are of course convenient stores and restaurants nearby.

Nothing much but be prepared to walk more staying here which we didn’t mind as you get to see the local life. As we arrived at night, it felt like a long walk pulling luggages from the train station (from Osaka) and slight trouble finding the property with minimal street lighting. So I would recommend arriving earlier or catching a taxi.

It was clean and modern in the ‘older’ Japanese style, which was nice. Good cooling systems and nice to be able to prepare some meals and wash clothes. It’s in a relatively quiet neighborhood that has a few supermarket options within a 10 min walk. Good communication from the host when we had an issue with the wifi. Overall, pretty good value for money.

The wifi data is not enough for a family with teenagers, or if you need a bit of data to plan your trip/activities each day. The data is capped daily, and the entire wifi malfunctioned on one of the days, so we had no internet which impacted our plans. The host was good with communication and trouble shooting, so that was good.
