Lovely property, great location fantastic local walks. Only downfall was the lack of working WiFi on the property. Although took nothing away from the weekend would definitely recommend!

It's really lovely, comfortable stay with plenty of space for 7 adults. The hot tub was an added bonus.

Location was a little out of the way for us to try and get taxis into Bishop Auckland

Very spacious and loved the hot tub.

Wish the room with the sofa bed had a proper double bed as my son and daughter in law said it was very uncomfortable. Also I think the likes of the sofas should be moved when cleaning as behind and under was dirty, dust, bits, toys.

"Great place once we found it"

Plenty of downstairs space - didn't need to use it all. Large kitchen table. Rooms upstairs were large and comfortable. One had low ceiling in parts. Well decorated throughout. Nice small back yard with seats and hot tub (didn't have time to use this)

Directions were ambiguous. Took a while to find the property eventually a lady from the pub opposite told us where it was. The access door (back) is located in a courtyard area behind the entrance where you can park at least 2 cars. Suggest use What-three-words app. address of "helpers.special.committed" or GPS 54.7269, -1.9555

Stunning house in picturesque location, locals were very friendly and helpful, house was stunning. Extended family break and everyone loved it. Only sad time was leaving. Will definitely book again.

"Heather cottage hits the mark"

Very spacious and super clean cottage. Beautifully decorated and comfortable and warm.Huge hot tub although we didn’t have time to use it. Quiet and secluded back garden. Helpful hosts. Comfortable beds with fresh linen and pillows. Beautiful clean bathrooms.

Unfortunately there was no internet connection during our stay. The hosts were very reactive and helpful though but couldn’t resolve the issue while we were there. It was a bit tricky to find. Could do with a sign on the front door and a clear map to show the position of the building and where to park as part of the check in procedure.
