New A/C Central Kona Surf House 4bd/4bth Sleeps8

The house was in a nice, quiet residential neighborhood with an easy walk to the beach and park. Our host was very responsive to our questions and the house was perfect for our multi-generational trip for 7 people. It was very convenient to have a full kitchen with a nice seating area and living room. One of the nicest features of the house what that each of the 4 bedrooms had a bathroom! Beach toys, umbrellas, snorkeling gear and ice chests were available to borrow.

We stayed here as a family of five adults. The three bedrooms were incredibly spacious with high ceilings. In particular, the two rooms located further back had windows on two sides, offering a beautiful view of the lush greenery right from the beds. The room with the bunk bed was about one-third the size of the other rooms, though the bed itself was large enough for an adult to sleep comfortably. Every room had its own full bathroom, which made our stay very comfortable. Each bathroom was also well-stocked with regular-sized hand soap, body wash, shampoo, and conditioner. The absolute best part of this property, as mentioned in the title, is the new AC system. Having a unit in each room was incredibly convenient because everyone could turn it on or off according to their own preference. Although we didn't use it, there was also a large fan available for anyone who prefers not to use AC. We were able to sleep very comfortably even on hot nights. The property also comes with an amazing amount of amenities. There were plenty of bath and beach towels, a BBQ grill, snorkeling gear, several bicycles, two sizes of coolers, beach toys for kids, a playpen, a high chair, and a first-aid kit—just to name a few, as there are too many to list here. The kitchen was also fully equipped. The freezer was stocked with ice packs and a bag of ice, and it has an automatic ice maker as well. Loading and unloading our luggage was very easy since the driveway is located right next to the entrance. The outdoor shower was incredibly useful, allowing not just us but also the gear we used to be rinsed of sand. Having a lockbox for the keys was another great feature that gave me peace of mind against losing them. There was even a mango tree in the front yard, and we only regretted that the mangoes weren't ripe enough to eat!

While we were thoroughly satisfied overall, there were two small things that were a bit inconvenient. First, there was no laundry detergent provided. We did laundry twice during our stay and had to go out to purchase detergent. It would have been helpful to have even a small bottle available. Second, the paper towel roll was already less than half full when we arrived and ran out the night before our departure. It was a bit inconvenient that there was no spare roll.

Views for breakfast on the porches, cold ac and exploring the fruit forest of the yard. First earth shaking experience to start the trip off.

99.99% was excellent, would have liked some coffee and the laundry detergent ran out after 1 wash of beach towels.

This property was so beautiful, and extremely comfortable for our family! It is located in the perfect spot, and conveniently located near the beach and only a short walk or drive to the town center. Each room had its own bathroom along with its own patio area. It is fully equipped for all your travel needs, it’s basically having your own home with all the amenities. We truly enjoyed having a washer and dryer as it makes things so much easier especially with daily trips to the beach!

We enjoyed the comfort, and LOVED that the home included a shed with bikes, and everything BEACH such as chairs, umbrellas, coolers, even sunblock haha. Overall we truly enjoyed our stay.

This is an absolutely lovely home to stay in! There are four bedrooms and each one has its own bathroom! That in itself was awesome with our group. The kitchen has everything you need, and the air conditioning takes the edge off the hotter days. A nice big driveway made it easy for our two vehicles, and it was perfect.

I can't really think of anything. The neighborhood has lots of dogs that barked in the day, but they didn't bark at night, so that was good. I could comment about the price, but that's all of Kona lol! Compared to everything else we could find this was respectively a great deal!

Great location for Kona Kailua! The house fit all 7 of us with no problems. We used the beach equipment they provided. It was great to have chairs and umbrellas for the beach. The washer and dryer got a work out! Nice quiet neighborhood.

It got a warm during the afternoon and the air conditioning had a problem keeping up.

The owner was easy to deal with and because Kona Surf is a name used in an area of the Keauhou district, I thought this was in a completely different neighborhood. I was happy to find out it was off of Royal Poinciana. It was good for my coworkers to see a real Kona neighborhood where my friends have lived.

If there had been a mechanism to communicate with the host by text, it would have allayed some of my fears. I understand why, but I was nervous not confirming the lock box until the day before. The lockbox itself stuck, so it took some maneuvering to coax it open.

Great location right off of Alii Drive. Loved the fact that we all had our own bathroom. Beds were comfy and AC in every room. I would definitely stay here again!

Number of rooms. Fairly close to Kailua-Kona downtown.

The property is infested with pests. We killed three cockroaches—two large ones and one that could fly. Additionally, one of the bathrooms was accumulating insect droppings by the minute, possibly indicating a termite infestation. Host didn't want to admit it's a pest-infested property and didn't want to take reasonable actions.

A disposizione degli ospiti condimenti, posate pentole, tutto il necessario per cucinare. C'è il barbecue su uno dei terrazzini e il kit per usarlo.Il proprietario, gentile e disponibile, offre gratuitamente (nel box) biciclette, maschere, pinne e sedie per il mare. Ottimo kit per l'igiene personale con bagnoschiuma, shampoo e balsamo, phon,addirittura l'acetone per le unghie. C'è parcheggio per due auto davanti all'ingresso. Facile il check in e le comunicazioni. È veramente una casa equipaggiata di tutto. Buon rapporto qualità prezzo. Late check out a 45 dollari fino alle 15.00.
