GBGBGBWe arrived at the property at 20.40 after a 4.45hour drive from London. The house had not been cleaned at all. Blood stains and yellow residue all over the bed sheets. The towels were all wet and thrown around the property. Kitchen was filthy, food all over counters, dirty dishes. Cushions thrown around. Floor was muddy and dirty. Bathroom door does not lock. Bin was full and had not been changed. Fire detector is beeping. Overall, horrible experience - do not recommend. Reached out to host and stay as soon as we got in and the customer service was appalling. Phone was cut off many times, no urgency to resolve the issue at all. Save yourselves the hassle - do not book here.

GBNice walks nearby as well as a cosy pebble beach. Drier and washing machine good. Shop very close.
Property issues Leaking conservatory roof Taped of electrical wires in the bathroom Hob was chipped and a large crack in it. Hob wiring under worktop jointed with tape Back yard overgrown with weeds Outdoor furniture filthy and in poor state Shower did not drain well and flooded bathroom. No mirror in bathroom Fridge downstairs from kitchen. Iron supplied had a worn wire, but was replaced. Most issues reported not had a response to these issues after 4 weeks. Cottage could be very nice, but found it clean, but somewhat neglected. The broken hob and evidence of poor, makeshift wiring was a safety concern.
