NUMBER 7

Maison située juste à l'entrée de l'île de Skye, facile d'accès, dans un quartier calme. Bon endroit pour visiter l'île et Wester Ross. Des hôtes attentionnés qui ont été bienveillants lors du passage de la tempête Floris. Nous reviendrions avec plaisir.

Prima locatie. Aan het begin van Isle of Skye, vlak na de brug, vandaar alles makkelijk te bereizen. Laadpalen op relatief korte afstand. Leuk welkom pakket bij aankomst. In de keuken waren voldoende pannen, bestek e.d. aanwezig.

I like the set up. There were 3 bedrooms with a total of 5 beds. There were 2 full baths as well. It was very homey and comfortable. Very well located and private too.

The only thing I would suggest woukd be to have bigger towels and more face clothes.

Very clean and comfortable, and great location - walkable into Kyleakin and also very handy for the Bridge and main road to access rest of Skye, but quiet backwater with scenic views from top floor bedrooms. Host Janette was very responsive, including providing washing powder when we found there wasn't any.

A few practical touches missing, like loo brushes. And a bit strange that double bedroom wasn't the one with the en-suite - with our family set-up, 3 of us (parents in double & 1 adult child in top floor twin) ended up sharing top floor bathroom and 1 adult child had en-suite on ground floor. Grass in back garden was very high so would have been difficult to use garden table & chairs - lawn was mowed but only late on in our stay.

Felt like home away from home! Location was perfect for our family and the little snacks and Iru Bru was a very nice touch!

Lovely place, well located to visit Skye. Janette is a perfect host, very friendly and service oriented.

Lovely clean, comfortable, well furnished and well equipped 3 bedroomed house in a quiet residential road just 10 minutes walk from local bars and restaurants in Kyleakin . Friendly welcome from host Janette who also gave us some great recommendations for best places to eat. The house made a perfect base for our 4 night stay touring Skye and north-west Scotland. Highly recommended.

Number 7 was fabulous. Everything we needed and more. It was great to have a full kitchen & washer for a few nights. There were a few essentials there. The fresh bread & milk were a lovely, and the chocolates were special too. Communication was excellent from start to finish. Easy to find. Location for Skye was great. Quiet area. The house has been beautifully renovated, it was a pleasure to stay.
