団体客と一緒でルールを守れていなくて消灯時間を過ぎても共有スペースで喋ったり、ドライヤーの音がうるさくて寝れなかった。消灯時間に見回りにくる等が必要だと思う

So comfortable and inviting. Very self serve vibe which made us feel welcome and at home. We were lucky to have the hosts friend Ayaka join us for great conversation, we hope to see her in New Zealand one day! We enjoying cooking a vegan meal entirely from Konbini ingredients.

This is very comfort to stay and cheap

Really clean and modern hostel. The staff is very friendly and you can clearly see that they take good care of the hostel. They also gave us great recommendations of nearby restaurants where we enjoyed a good dinner. All in all, we had a super one night stay at HATAYA!

Excellent, friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful community in rural Kyoto. Friendly guests and accommodating of children.

Kitchenette needs a dishrack, pots, utensils and water kettle, however, was provided when requested. Garbage removal from guest area needs to be more frequent.

This is a brand new guesthouse (converted from an old silk workshop) in Amino, with a curry restaurant attached. The rooms are either dormitory style or in a kind of annexe - if you have mobility issues or if you’re tall I recommend a dormitory room. The beds are extremely comfortable and I slept extremely well (which is my measure of a good place to stay), but do be aware that it’s a guesthouse so if there are lots of other guests it might be a little noisy. (It was extremely quiet when I stayed though, so it was perfect for my needs.) The staff are extremely warm and welcoming and really helped me out with my stay in the area. I thoroughly recommend this as a place to stay in the Kyotango area - it’s 5 minutes from Kotobikihama beach (one of the best beaches in all of Japan!) and you’ll be delighted with the new-meets-old design and feeling.

Be warned that it’s about 30 minutes from Amino station and town. You can walk, but it’s a bit of a way!

Very clean room and facilities. And nice location near old Japanese style town. Enjoy BBQ on the garden. I bring BBQ set including BBQ oven.
