"In need of a DEEP clean and refresh"

The location was good

The house was unclean. Even after the owner organised a clean once we checked in (post our request) it was still grotty. In dire need of a deep clean across the entire house as well as a refresh and maintenance. Bathroom and kitchen were especially unclean. The floors hadn't been mopped or hoovered.

"Didn't end up staying here. Host ghosted us."

Didn't actually get to stay here as the host stopped communicating with me at 3.30pm so I was unable to collect the keys and ended up driving home from Hull (4 hours). Tried to get a refund but was told it was not available.

"Exceptional"

Situated in a lovely quiet area, house was lovely and clean, we felt very comfortable staying there, there was everything you needed it was just like home from home... Excellent customer service, this is our second stay here and this would definitely be our first choice to book when visiting family again...

To be honest we never got to stay in the property 😕 even though the money went out of our bank and are still waiting for a refund a week later .when we booked .I rang the owners for them to turn round n say they will have to decline our request to stay because they don't have local people staying as a rule which I found rather peculiar. It caused a bit of inconvenience as we had to rush about looking for alternatives as we had a friend coming from another town for a night out .so a bit disappointing we couldn't stay 😕 I would love to give a good review but cannot

"House and location were OK but with multiple other options we wouldn't stay there again."

Location was good for our needs (visiting family) and for Hull city centre.

House wasn't particularly clean. Only dining table was in the conservatory which remained cold even with the radiator on full. Dealing with the hosts became tedious - it took nearly a week and multiple requests to get our damage deposit refunded.

"Absolutely wonderful"

Stayed over Xmas, was really comfortable and clean. Owners had even put a Xmas tree up for us, which was a really nice touch. It was in a really quiet area, but a walkable distance to shops and the nearest pub. Had a really nice time here and would definitely stay again.
